New to First Kid's?
First Time Guest Information
If this is the first time your child is participating in First Kid’s, we suggest arriving 10 minutes before the service start time. When you arrive for the first time, stop by the First Kid’s Welcome Center which is located in the Christian Activity Center near the downstairs First Kid’s entrance. At the Welcome Center, you will receive information about our check-in process and classroom assignments.

Nursery
The Nursery at First Kid’s, Noah’s Nook, is committed to providing a safe, nurturing Christian environment for young children. Nursery is available for all worship services at First United Methodist Church of Edmond.
Early Childhood
First Kid’s programming for children 2 years-Pre K is available Sunday during the 9:45 AM & 11:00AM worship services. Check in is 10 minutes before the start of each worship service. Preschoolers are part of a fun and creative experience designed to encourage kids as they grow in their walk with God. Through games, crafts, and age-appropriate lessons, your child will journey through the Bible lesson of the day in a small group setting in their classroom. During the hour, your child will also have the opportunity to experience the large group lesson in our praise and worship space, The Big Red Barn. This is a high-energy environment that teaches the Bible lesson for the week through songs, drama, and group participation.
Elementary
First Kid’s programming for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade is available on Sundays during the 9:45 AM and 11:00AM worship services. Through games, crafts and age-appropriate lessons and applications, your child will journey through the Bible lesson of the day in a small group setting. During the hour, your child will also have the opportunity to experience the large group lesson in our Big Red Barn! The Big Red Barn is a high-energy environment that teaches the week’s lesson through song, drama, games, video clips and more.
